In Lisbon, you will find a wider range of accommodation options. If you are looking for other regions closer to Carcavelos, Alcântara and Belém are good options—they are nearer than other central Lisbon neighbourhoods.
Local transportation
To get around Lisbon, including its metropolitan area, such as Carcavelos, you can use public transportation

Travelling from downtown Lisbon (Cais do Sodré train station) to Nova SBE in Carcavelos takes approximately 45–50 minutes by public transport (maps here).
Depending on the Lisbon area you are, you have to take the subway, followed by a train to Carcavelos station, followed by a short bus or Uber/Bolt ride to Nova SBE.
You can also take a ride on Uber/Bolt or around 25–30 minutes by car or Uber/Bolt.
